1. Acceptance

By creating an account on CHESS.TRAIN, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• You must not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others.
• You must provide accurate information when linking your Chess.com username.
• One account per person. Duplicate accounts may be removed.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
• Use automated tools to solve puzzles or manipulate rankings
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

5. Service Availability

CHESS.TRAIN is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any loss of data or progress due to downtime.

6. Beta and Early Access

This platform is currently in early access. Features may change, data may be reset, and bugs may occur. By using the service during this phase, you accept these limitations.

7. Chess.com Integration

Connecting your Chess.com account is optional. When connected, we access your publicly available game history through Chess.com's public API. You can disconnect at any time by contacting us or deleting your account.

8. AI-Generated Content

Coaching reports are generated by an AI model (Claude by Anthropic) and are for educational purposes only. They do not constitute professional chess coaching advice. AI output may occasionally be inaccurate.

9. Intellectual Property

Puzzle content is sourced from the Lichess puzzle database under the Creative Commons CC0 license. The CHESS.TRAIN platform code, branding, and original content are proprietary.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time via Account Settings.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CHESS.TRAIN is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Hungarian courts.
